Do I need to provide water or electricity?

No. Our van is fully self-contained with its own water supply and power. All we need is access to your vehicle. You don't need to do anything except hand us the keys.

Where should I park my car?

Ideally on a driveway or in a spot with good access on all sides. If that's not possible, a close-by street space works fine. We just need enough room to work around the vehicle.

How long does each service take?

Mini Valet: ~1.5 hours. Full Valet: ~2.5–3 hours. Full Deep Clean: ~4–5 hours. Exterior Wash & Wax: ~45 minutes. Full Exterior Deep Clean: ~1.5–2 hours. Machine Polishing: 4–8 hours depending on condition. Times are approximate and depend on vehicle size and condition.

What products do you use?

We use professional-grade, pH-neutral products throughout — including premium snow foams, carnauba wax, ceramic sealants, and specialised leather care. No harsh chemicals, no shortcuts. Every product is chosen for safety and performance.

Can I stay in the house while you work?

Absolutely. Most customers hand us the keys and carry on with their day. We'll let you know when we're done.

How do I book?

You can book via our contact form, by phone (07306 427 839), or on WhatsApp. Tell us what service you're after and we'll confirm a time that works for you. We typically reply within 2 hours.

Are your prices fixed or do they vary by vehicle size?

Accepted Answer

Our standard prices cover most cars. For larger vehicles (SUVs, vans, 4x4s) or vehicles in particularly poor condition, there may be a small surcharge. We'll always let you know upfront — no surprises.

Do you offer any discounts for regular bookings?

Yes — if you book a recurring service (e.g. fortnightly mini valet or monthly full valet), get in touch and we can discuss a regular customer rate.

What's your cancellation policy?

We understand plans change. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Same-day cancellations may incur a small fee.

Do you take card payments?

Yes — we accept card payments, bank transfer, and cash. Whatever's easiest for you.

What's the difference between a valet and detailing?

Accepted Answer

A valet is a thorough clean — vacuuming, washing, and protection. Detailing goes deeper: clay bar treatment, paint correction, ceramic sealants, and restoration work. Our Full Deep Clean and Machine Polishing services are in the detailing category. Our Mini Valet and Full Valet are premium valeting services.

What's a clay bar treatment?

Clay bar removes bonded contaminants from your paintwork that washing alone can't shift — things like industrial fallout, tree sap, and brake dust. It leaves the paint glass-smooth and ready for wax or sealant. Included in the Deep Clean (£125) or available as an add-on (£30).

What's the difference between wax and ceramic sealant?

Carnauba wax gives a warm, deep shine and lasts 4–8 weeks. Ceramic sealant creates a harder, more durable layer of protection lasting 3–6 months, with better water beading and UV resistance. Our Deep Clean includes ceramic sealant as standard.

Can you remove swirl marks and scratches?

Yes — our Machine Polishing service (from £150) removes swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation using professional-grade polishing machines. Deeper scratches may need a multi-stage correction. We'll assess and quote honestly.

Do you do commercial vehicles, vans, or motorbikes?

We can detail vans and larger vehicles — pricing may vary depending on size. Get in touch with your vehicle details and we'll give you a quote. Motorbikes are something we're looking to offer in the future.

We cover all of West Lothian (Livingston, Bathgate, Linlithgow, Broxburn, Whitburn, and more), West Edinburgh (Corstorphine, Currie, Balerno, Kirkliston), and wider Central Scotland. Not sure? Just ask — we're happy to check.

What are your working hours?

Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. Sunday by appointment. We'll always try to find a slot that works for your schedule.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking 2–3 days in advance, but we often have same-day or next-day availability — especially for mini valets and exterior washes. Get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

Do you work in the rain?

Accepted Answer

Light rain is fine for most services — we can work under cover or in a garage if available. For machine polishing and exterior-only services, we may need to reschedule in heavy rain. We'll always communicate if weather is a factor.
